Venza, a data protection and compliance specialist for the hospitality industry, has acquired CyberTek Engineering in an undisclosed deal.

Venza says the acquisition of Indiana, U.S-based CyberTek Engineering, which provides IT and consulting services to companies, complements its existing security offering and boosts its existing talent pool.

Jeff Venza, chairman and CEO at Venza, says: “By acquiring CyberTek, we create a force‐multiplier effect in addressing some of the biggest struggles for hoteliers today: staying ahead of technological change while ensuring compliance and protecting their business and guest data against vulnerabilities and threats.”

He adds: “The collective experience and expertise amplify our in‐house resources and efficiencies. We can ensure that data privacy and security are never compromised.”

According to a statement from the company, Venza will now be “self-reliant” in the event of a security breach.
